World Dwarfism Awareness Day
Happy (late) International Dwarfism Awareness Day! For those of you who wasn't aware yesterday -October 25th- was #DwarfismAwarenessDay & we're here to tell you all the AMAZING ways we got to celebrate it.
Firstly, we have released a brand new SWEAT collection- a unisex loungewear set in the most gorgeous & wearable colours that everybody is going to love, especially for the colder months. Did you know why October 25th was chosen for Dwarfism Day? It's noted that it was chose on this specific day because it's Billy Barty's birthday - an American actor with dwarfism. In 1957 he set up Little People of America, an organization that prioristes supporting people with dwarfism, whilst raising awareness on the issue. We spent yesterday listening to LPA Board President's interview with founder (Billy Barty) in a brilliant fireside chat, reminding us of the amazing work that Billy has had on the community.
